Performance Art in Art Education? Research in Art Education?
Contact me for a course that fits the needs of your students.
Since 2008 I have been teaching art at several universities in Germany as part of teacher training programs, from 2012-2017 as a research assistant in art/art education at the University of Osnabrück.
As a substitute for the W1 professorship for Gender and Inclusion Studies and the W2 professorship for Art Didactics 2021-2024 at the UdK Berlin, I was able to deepen my expertise in art education teaching and research.
My seminars serve both BA and MA level. My focus is on an intensive art pedagogical examination of performance art and its mediation in various contexts as well as qualitative-empirical research.
If you are interested, please have a look at my dissertation ‘Creating Spaces’, which was the first qualitative-empirical study on the mediation of performance art published by kopaed in 2020.
